How soon after an interview will I be deployed?
This will depend on the start date issued by the employer and the receipt of the COS and how long it took to receive all of your documents. The start date with the employer will be communicated to you when you have been successful at the interview.
I was successful at the interview, what happens next?
Our recruitment team will liaise with you and send you all the relevant documentation. You will also be asked to provide documents so that our team can progress your COS.
I’ve applied for a job, what happens next?
Our recruitment team will consider your application, and if suitable, your CV will be submitted to the employer for consideration. We hold regular interviews; if the employer wishes to interview you, our recruitment team will contact you to arrange an interview day and time.
How do I apply for a role?
You can view all our current vacancies here. Once you have selected a role(s) you are interested in, you can complete the form and attach your CV. Our recruitment team will then be in touch to discuss your experience further.
Can I choose the Trust I want to work for?
We can’t guarantee you a specific Trust, but we can guarantee you that in all our Trusts you will have the opportunity to develop as a professional and progress in your career.
Why can you not offer me an opportunity based on the Country I am currently living and working in?
We operate under strict guidance from the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the recruitment of Healthcare Professionals from countries on their Safeguarding List.
If the information you provided suggests you are a resident of a country currently on the WHO Safeguard and Support List then we cannot accept your registration as you are classed as living in a developing nation. You can read further details about this here.
We will, however, add your details to our database and should any opportunities arise that we can consider you for, or if restrictions alter, we will be in touch.
What are the requirements to apply?
We require an IELTS or OET certificate, your CV and your passport to book you in for an interview.
Do I need to have my CBT to apply?
When you apply, you don’t need to have your CBT, we would prefer if you have booked your CBT, but you don’t have to pass your CBT to apply for vacancies.
Can people from any country apply?
The United Kingdom includes the island of Great Britain, the north-eastern part of the island of Ireland, and many smaller islands within the British Isles. Northern Ireland shares a land border with the Republic of Ireland; otherwise, the United Kingdom is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the English Channel, the Celtic Sea and the Irish Sea.
How long does it take from application to deployment?
This really can vary depending on where you are in the process of your NMC registration if you are a nurse or a midwife, GMC registration if you are a doctor and your HCPC registration if you are an AHP. If you have your IELTS/OET and CBT (if you are a nurse) it can be anywhere from 3 months to 6 months + if you are at the beginning of the process.
