Monika Goliszek

Monika is responsible for the recruitment and candidate-facing aspects of each project, including creating pipelines and talent pools through effective candidate attraction and recruitment process management.

She works with our Business Manager to establish key project milestones (e.g. interview dates, start dates, cohort numbers) and create the project plan (using Prince2) for the Resourcing Team to work to, reviewing it at regular intervals and updating our bespoke tracker document to allow the Trust’s Recruitment and Clinical Teams to monitor the flow of nurses through the process transparently. She attends weekly progress meetings with the Business Manager, dealing with challenges as they arise and discussing and resolving any impediments to progress. Monika will also liaise with all our offices and partners to ensure enough healthcare professionals are entering the pipeline and moving through the process. Upon job offer, she will ensure that successful candidates are passed through to the Compliance & Pastoral Care teams to manage vetting, pre-departure activity (e.g. CoS process, travel arrangements etc) and post-arrival support.

Monika has 10 year’s recruitment experience of which more than 5 has been spent in healthcare recruitment with Resource Finder, including leading very large-scale projects. She has introduced processes that enable ongoing requirements with volume clients to run seamlessly (e.g. Hull and Derby & Burton where she has managed the recruitment of 475 healthcare professionals in the last 12 months). She worked in ‘blue-collar’ recruitment for 5 years prior to working with Resource Finder and has previously worked as an International Education Coordinator in Higher Education based in Warsaw, Poland for three years.

Monika is a qualified project manager (Prince2) – this enables the Recruitment and Clinical Team’ to be confident that campaigns will be well planned, risks will be identified and mitigated (with contingencies built-in), NMC and NHS employment standards will be met and international/UK legislation will be complied with.
