A lovely way to end the week by welcoming our latest cohort of midwifery OSCE training candidates!
The midwives have been recruited by NHS Trusts throughout the North West; East Cheshire NHS Trust, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and have entrusted Resource Finder to provide our Post-arrival Settling-in Service and Midwifery OSCE Training, which will be delivered over a 4-week period.
Our team has really enjoyed welcoming each midwife, ensuring they settled into their accommodation well, collected their BRPs, helped to set up their new UK sim cards, organised appointments to set up their UK bank accounts, taking them to the supermarket and then topped off a busy few days with a late lunch together.
This level of support in the first initial few days of arriving in the UK really does help support candidates’ positive transition to life in the UK, and it’s always our pleasure!
